Loll Designs Adirondack Chairs | Retro Modern Furniture Redefined

In my younger years I was fortunate to spend many summer evenings in the mountains of upstate New York, ensconced in the comforting contours of a classic wood adirondack chair. Though originally designed in 1903, Adirondacks are among a special class of designed object that's timeless yet always changing, evolving into thousands of updated versions without losing its soul. The latest and most radical of these comes from Loll Designs, who have masterfully executed the historic laid back / wide armed stance in 100% recycled HDPE plastic (milk jugs, detergent bottles etc.). Paired down to the essential lines that define the Adirondack style, Loll's chair (along with accompanying tables, benches and ottomans) is an iconic example of contemporary furniture deeply rooted in history.
